AMPCO Safety Management System (ASMS)
The AMPCO Safety Management System provides a set of company-wide Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures within which all of our business processes are to be conducted. Continuous Improvement Processes are the key to the long term success and that is built into the AMPCO Safety Management System (ASMS).
The ASMS is a fit-for-purpose management system that is designed specifically by and for AMPCO. It was developed by teams from all the functional departments. Industry benchmarks, various government regulations, Owner programs and other HSE best practices have been used as a basis for creating the AMPCO framework. The content of the best practices has been captured and embedded within the ASMS. The framework is also structured around the fundamental Plan, Implement, Measure and Improve business model. The ASMS provides guidelines in eleven different elements:

The ASMS was designed to incorporate requirements, guidelines and best practices from all of the regulations, programs and systems that influence the Company and distill them into a single framework.
