Our Family
AMPCO is very proud of its family. We consider each member of our company as important as the next. Throughout each year we conduct a number of events that highlight excellent employee performance or that bring our family closer together to celebrate our successes. Below you will find just a few of those events conducted over the past year.
May Day
May 1st marks a special occasion for workers throughout Equatorial Guinea. It is known to all as Workers’ Day (sometimes referred to internationally as Labor Day). The occasion is celebrated by all companies in Equatorial Guinea with a parade at a pre-selected city. AMPCO is proud to take part in this celebration and each year a large number of the AMPCO family attends the parade and festivities.
AMPCO also recognizes the hard work and support of all employees, more specifically those that have performed exceptionally in their different roles and responsibilities during the past year.
Employees were awarded at a Departmental level in the following areas:
- Maintenance
- Operation / Project Engineering / HSE
- Security
- Administration / Human Resources / I.T. / Finance / Commercial
AMPCO has always strived for operational excellence which is shown through our employees’ performance year-to-year. It is our employees that make AMPCO such a successful company and we are proud to celebrate these achievements with the AMPCO family.
Children's Christmas Party
December is a very special month worldwide, especially in Equatorial Guinea. It is the month of Christmas, and many other festivities all over the country. Additionally, it is a time when children round the world receive presents from family and friends.
Each year, AMPCO brings together its extended family by inviting employees’ children to a very special Christmas event. This includes a visit with Papa Noel (Santa Claus) who hands each child a present while listening to each of their Christmas wishes.
As AMPCO’s family grows, we look to continue this tradition whereby our extended family can also benefit from our successes each year.
